ZWERGSCHNAUzER

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

Schnauzers first came about in the 14th and 15th centuries in Southern Germany. Farmers during this time were in need of a dog fierce enough to protect their carts, but small enough to ride in those carts. These farmers also needed a dog that could keep the rat populations down around their farm and help protect their animals. Introducing: The Schnauzer. These dogs could meet those needs as hunters and protectors. They were often paired with German Shepherd to help protect the flocks and herds. Being the keen and alert dogs that they are, Schnauzers would alert the German Shepherds of danger nearby, making them an unstoppable team. Though the breed has come a long way from their farm days, these dogs still make incredibly loyal companions and will melt into your family seamlessly.

Beauty and Brains

Miniature schnauzers aren’t just all brains, they have beauty to boot, especially Bearded Lady Schnauzers. Our miniature schnauzers have beautiful and soft megacoats and supercoats. Depending on what you want out of a dog will depend on what coat you may prefer. Our dogs fit many lifestyles with their beautiful physics and personalities. Though these dogs have the unmistakable Miniature Schnauzer singing voice (that howl is something special), we try to maintain great temperaments among all of our puppies through careful breeding and neurological stimulation. This helps rein in those barky Miniature Schnauzer tendencies, while keeping the alertness and intelligence that we love most in this breed.
